Why We Built Vocabify
Learning a new language is a massive undertaking. While grammar and pronunciation are critical, vocabulary is the limiting factor for B2, C1, and C2 learners. They need to acquire thousands of complex, low-frequency words to pass academic tests (like IELTS, TOEFL, GRE) or operate in executive corporate environments.
Traditional spaced repetition tools like Anki are incredibly powerful but have a brutal learning curve and high setup friction. Everyday apps like Duolingo are game-focused but lack cognitive depth and custom control.
We built Vocabify to sit exactly in the middle. We offer zero-friction AI card generation combined with the world's most modern spaced repetition algorithm, letting learners review effectively in under 5 minutes a day.
